The Female Edge and VK Energy Bars unite under a common mission: to empower female athletes in their pursuit of self-discovery and building confidence in themselves to believe they can achieve their goals.

Our partner, Vikki Krinsky, Founder of VK Energy Bar, has a background that not only encompasses culinary expertise but also firsthand knowledge of the nutritional needs of elite athletes. A competitive soccer player meets Ironman 70.3 triathlete, this unique blend of skills and experience sets VK Energy Bar apart. As a chef dedicated to creating a bar that stands out in taste and nutritional value, these bars ensure every ingredient is carefully selected to contribute to peak taste and performance! Our collaboration strives to equip female athletes with comprehensive resources to shine both on and off the field, embracing their healthiest selves.

FOOT SOLDIERS PARK
The Female Edge supports Foot Soldiers Park through a shared vision to inspire and empower youth to reach their full potential and assist in providing resources and opportunities to live out their goals and dreams. We are committed to donating athletic equipment, mindset mentoring, and college recruiting support services to the young women of Foot Soldiers Park and the greater Selma community.

ABOUT FOOT SOLDIERS PARK:
Foot Soldiers Park & Education Center (FSP) Was Formed in 2021 by Mrs. JoAnne Bland, a Selma native and lifelong warrior in the fight for civil rights and racial injustice.
​
Mission: Foot Soldiers Park mission is to preserve and memorialize the civil rights history of Selma, bring economic and cultural revitalization to the city and it's residents and prepare the next generation of activist to continue the fight against racial injustice and voter suppression.
​
Vision: In doing so, FSP aims to improve the well-being of the city’s underserved residents by bringing economic opportunities to the city and developing amenities, resources, and programs that benefit the community.
FSP’s Secret Sauce: We work hand-in-hand with the community to create space for intergenerational connection, activation, and healing and elevate Selma and Foot Soldiers’ experience in the public consciousness to ensure present and future generations can build from their legacy and history to continue the fight for equity and justice.
FSP’s Ultimate Goal: A revitalized and engaged Selma that puts residents in the driver's seat of their own resources and empowers the community to hold space for and facilitate the healing, restoration, and activation of current and future next generations of civil rights leaders.
